Life Coaching in Nature


Life Coaching is a transformation experience and when nature is incorporated it can be even more powerful. When you take your session into nature you get all of the benefits of a regular coaching session with the added benefit of nature. Nature can help with the process by providing its own rituals for you to implement into your own life or even leave you with a keepsake to remind you of your experience. Nature has provided me with my own metaphors that have created transformation in my life.

One example that I can share is the metaphor of change that occurs in the seasons. As the leaves start to fall it reminds to shed the old to allow the new to come in. This is almost a time of rebirth for me and a reminder to stay in the present moment and leave the past.


So, what is Life coaching?

A life coach partners with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential. Coaches honor the client as the expert in his or her own life and work and believe every client is creative, resourceful and whole. Professional coaching focuses on setting goals, creating outcomes and managing personal change.

We work with the whole person and getting to the root of what may be out of balance in one’s life; work, stress, sleep pattern, mood, diet, exercise etc. In my experience most, if not all of these can be out of whack if there is not a focus on individual wellness. Through implementing positive life skills and learning how to set and achieve goals you will start to feel what a balanced and healthy life can be. It is my job to guide and motivate you through this process.
